Sussex Online Speakers is a part of Toastmasters International. Our club offers you the opportunity to connect from anywhere, in the world with our online meetings. Our club community is focused on empowering each other to develop our public speaking, communication, and leadership skills in a safe, supportive environment.

You are welcome to attend a couple of meetings as a guest before making a commitment to join us.

How to join
Our membership cycle starts on the 1st of April or October. Between these months you can join pro rata.*
​
The cost is £10 per month, plus a £20 new member fee which gives you access to your first educational pathway. The fees cover your membership with Toastmasters International, access to Basecamp the Learning Management System and support the opportunities beyond the club. A small amount also covers the operational costs associated with the club, which are spent in alignment with a budget approved by club members each year.

Our club uses EasySpeak for members to sign up for speeches, and roles and RSVP for meetings.
EasySpeak is not an official Toastmasters product and this version is for clubs in the UK and Ireland specifically.

Explore
Once you've completed your application form and paid, please allow a few days for your membership to be processed.
​
Toastmasters International will then email you to confirm your membership is live and you can explore your profile on the Toastmasters website, with access to resources and the learning management system. Sign up for your first educational pathway and let your journey begin!

If you are a new member, please add the new member fee of £20 to your payment when joining.

If you would like to pay now for your membership in advance i.e. those joining in September can pay for the 1st of October six-month period at the time of joining vs. needing to make a second payment for renewals straight away.
